Pregnancy

So you've just found out your pregnant. Congratulations! You may be asking some of the following questions:

  • When is my due date?
  • Does Madison Women's Clinic offer pre-natal classes?
  • When can I get an ultrasound?
  • When should my first doctors appointment be?
  • What will my doctor's appointments be like?
  • How often will my doctor's appointment be?
  • What do I do in case of an emergency?
  • How much weight gain is normal?
  • Is it normal to have swelling in my hands, legs, feet, or toes?
  • Is pain and bleeding ever normal?
  • When and how often should I be able to feel the baby move?
  • Can I exercise and what kinds are okay?
  • What kind of activities can I do (e.g horseback riding, amusement parks, etc.)?
  • Can I go swimming or use hot tubs/saunas?
  • Can I use a tanning bed?
  • Can I have my hair colored or permed?
  • Can I help with indoor/outdoor painting projects?
  • Can I be around children with Chicken Pox?
